Applicants for a place on the FMS First Aid team must have a current recognised first aid qualification as well as appropriate experience. A four day First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is the minimum acceptable.
Health professionals are welcome to apply if they have this qualification - just being a doctor, nurse or medical student, for example, is not enough.
